About Me
Hi, my name's Twirl & I came into the care of the rescue with my siblings after being surrendered to a local pound. Thankfully the rescue was contacted who wasted no time in finding a suitable foster carer who was able to take us in!
Lusciously whipped and delicately layered swirled chocolate . I am Twirl. Sounds too good to be true? Nope. Much like the deliciously good choc-o-late I've been aptly named after- I have a sweet, complex personality packed full of flavour! While I can initially be wary of strangers, this is for the most part short lived. You see, you'll need to earn my trust n' show me you're the good sort. Once that trust has been earned- well, Twirl is my name and snuggles is my game. I do these things called head boopities to coerce you into snuggles. If I don’t get ‘said’ snuggles? Well, I’ll pretty much be holding you hostage (for an unspecified amount of time) until I’m successful. I’m the sorta’ kittie that seeks every opportunity to have a snuggle… on a lap, arm, shoulder.... whatever’s going really.
So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I’ll need a home willing to give me plenty of time to settle in. Once I’ve settled in? BEHOLD….. the snuggle bum. Cats? I'm a social butterfly who would do best in a home with another kittie. Dogs? The great thing about the foster care system is our foster pawrents are able to test us with a bunch of different things.... This allows the rescue figure out what we 'would' and 'wouldn't' suit. I have had limited interactions with doggies but so far, have been relatively non-reaction. What does this mean? Well, it means I will adapt well to a home with another doggie -BUT- may be a bit hissy upon our our initial introduction. Children? I'll be a-ok with children as long as they give me time 'to chill' when I need it (ages 3+).
