What is Saving Animals Matters?
Saving Animals Matters is a self-funded, not-for-profit animal rescue based in Perth, Western Australia. We're a registered charity that is 100% volunteer-operated.
Founded in 2014, we became ‘fully operational’ in 2015… and haven’t looked back since! Our hard work and dedication to animals in need have enabled us to establish a solid reputation across the animal welfare industry.
Over the years. we feel we’ve been able to organically develop invaluable relationships with local pounds/animal care facilities, veterinary clinics and pet stores…. Through these partnerships, we’re able to continue doing what we do best, ‘Saving Animals’….​​​

What Do We Do?
Give Animals a Second Chance
We rescue animals who are surrendered, homeless, neglected, or abused, ensuring they have the opportunity for a better life.
Provide Loving Foster Care
Through our foster care system, each animal lives in a stable, caring home until they are adopted. This allows us to understand their personalities, needs, and backgrounds so we can give them the best support.
Find the Perfect Forever Home
We carefully match every animal to the most suitable family, giving both pets and their new companions the best chance at a happy, lifelong bond. We’re always looking for passionate animal lovers to join our mission.
Support Us
Our rescue is an Incorporated Entity and a registered Charity with the ACNC. As a not-for-profit organisation with no government funding, we rely on adoption fees and donations to be able to save lives.
