Hi, my name's Sooty & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself homeless at a local pound . The pound reached out to the rescue, who were able to secure foster care placement for me.

While my resting bi*** face may is on point, I'd like to reassure you that not only am I a pretty kitty, but, I have an equally as impressive purrsonality. Sweet natured, with an appetite for human affections…. I need all the affections. I'll throw myself at anything that moves.... Actually, that's a lie. I throw myself as doors, walls, furniture etc in the hopes that something or someone will give me attention. When I’m not nestled into an arm, neck or lap… you’ll generally find me by my window of choice enjoying the sunshine.

You see, it’s during these times that I re-charge my batteries, but for what you ask? Play time of course! In the evenings my inner kitten comes out and I get my ‘play on’.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I'm relaxed lady that'll suit a range of homes. Cats? I’m currently in care with other cats and have adapted well to their company. Dogs? While I haven't been around dogs in foster care, my relaxed purrsonality means there may be potential. Children? I’ll do great in a home with kidlets who are older (ages 3+).
