About Me
Hi, my name's Silky and I came into the care of the rescue with my litter of kittens. Thankfully the rescue wasted no time at all and found a suitable foster carer who was able to provide a safe and loving environment for us until our forever homes are found.
If you are looking for a special cat who is kind, affectionate and loves to love - then I am the one for you. I am a young mumma cat who has spent the first year of my life pregnant and teaching my litter how to be the sweetest and most gentle kittens possible. And now I deserve to have someone to love and look after me. My foster carers decided to call me Silky in honour of my striking silky coat. I’m a beautiful soul with eyes that pierce through any heart. I will rub my silky coat against your legs and purr my heart out the moment you pay me any type of attention. Although I have had a rough start giving birth to my babies in a strangers backyard, this hasn’t meant I’m jaded - in fact, I love the ‘in-home’ lifestyle where I get constantly pats, regular meal times and there are loving humans to rub against. I wasn’t meant to be a street cat, that’s for sure! I’m far too pretty and cuddly.
Now on to the important stuff. What sort of home would I suit best? I’ll do well in a home where I am your one and only or a home seeking a companion kitty. Cats? I play well with other cats and kittens. Dogs? I haven’t been around dogs in my foster home but I am so super chill that I can’t imagine it would be a problem. Children? I am so gentle that I would suit a home with children. (Ages 3+).
