About Me

Hi, my name's Poppy & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself homeless with my mum at a local pound.

I’m Poppy… and like the flower, I’m a little delicate at first. I love playing with my siblings and I’m quietly confident when I’m around them, but people still make me a bit unsure. I enjoy being nearby, especially if toys are involved... but I’m not quite convinced about pats or being picked up yet, and I’ll let you know with a little hiss if I’m uncomfortable.

I’m a sensitive girl who’s still learning that the world can be safe and kind, so I’ll need a patient family willing to let me settle in at my own pace. I’m non reactive to the dog in my foster room (even without direct contact) and haven’t met other cats yet.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? A home that is patient and mindful of my background. Cats? Yes! Dogs? I'll be fine in a home with a dog (or 2) providing introductions are done with care and consideration. Children? I am great with children, however would prefer a home without youngsters (ages 5+).

Adoption Package

Adoption fee is $450 which covers 1st vaccination, de-sexing, microchip, worming, flea treatment and vet check.
