Hi, my name's Poppy & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself homeless with my kitten (single) at a local pound.

To say I've been a doting mother would be an understatement. I put my absolute everything into raising my only baby.... and I did so with unmatched love, attention and care.

While I'm otherwise sweet and affectionate, I do require patience. You see, I like to assess the company I keep to ensure they're the 'good sort' first. Once I feel safe, I truly shine. I’ll reward your kindness with gentle affection, quiet companionship, and those special moments that feel all the more meaningful because they’re earned. I’m not one for rushing- I believe the best bonds, develop slowly and beautifully. If you’re someone who understands that love doesn’t always arrive all at once, I promise I’ll be worth the wait.

While I'm not one to come and sit on laps, I don't mind being picked up and cuddled by those I trust. I purr like a motor when my foster mum picks me up.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I'm in need of a patient home willing to give me plenty of time to settle in. Cats? I adore the company of other kitties! Dogs? I'm currently in care with a dog and while I tolerate his company, I'm not all that keen on it. Children? I'll also be fine with kidlets as long as I'm given space as needed (ages 15+)
