Hi, my name's Nova & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself homeless at a local pound. The pound reached out to the rescue, who were able to secure foster care placement for me.

My rescue journey has been an extensive but successful one. In the hands of our wonderful carer, I've developed into a well-rounded, sweet-natured young lady. Chillaxing is my thing, second only to seeking human attention... Yes, I needs all the attentions. While it can take me a bit of time to come out of my shell, once I'm comfortable in an environment and have determined whether my company is A-OK, you’ll notice that I become SUPER affectionate. The sort of affection that you’ll either love, or, find annoying. Kisses, cuddles, head boops, nudges.... that sort of thing and more.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I'm pretty much a 'one size fits all' kinda' kitty. Cats? The great thing about the foster care system is that our foster pawrents are able to introduce us to a bunch of different things. This helps the rescue figure out what sort of forever home we would and wouldn't suit. While I've had limited interactions with other kitties, I've been mostly non-reactive in their company. What does that mean? Well, the rescue is confident I could adapt well to sharing my home with another cat. I may be a little hissy when we first meet, but hey, sometimes a kitty needs to establish a few boundaries!
Slow, careful and considered introductions will be the key to helping us become comfortable in each other's company. With a little patience and time, I should settle in just fine. Dogs? Same deelio as kitties. Children? My relaxed personality makes me a great adoption candidate for a family environment. I will be fine with kidlets who are respectful of my space.... and give me time to ‘chill’ when needed (ages 3+).
