Hi, my name's Michelle Payne & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself homeless at a local pound. The pound reached out to the rescue, who were able to secure foster care placement for me.

Much like the woman I’m named after, I’m confident, determined and know exactly where I’m headed. I don’t need much of a warm-up either. I’m an affectionate little lady who’s more than happy to trot straight over, introduce myself and start collecting pats. I absolutely adore my humans and have plenty of love to give. I’m confident, social and affectionate, and once I’ve got you in my sights, I’ll be making a beeline for you whenever there are cuddles on offer. I might not be making history at Flemington, but I’m ready for a pretty important race of my own: the race to find my forever home.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I'd suit a home seeking a companion kitty. Cats? I'll adapt to the company of other kitties, providing introductions are done with care and consideration. Dogs? Same deelio is cats. Children? My relaxed personality makes me a great adoption candidate for a family environment. I will be fine with kidlets who're respectful of my space.... and give me time to ‘chill’ when needed (ages 3+).
