About Me

Hi, my name's Kali & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself homeless at a local pound. The pound reached out to the rescue, who were able to secure foster care placement for me.

(Yes… that Kali- a little sensitive, a little soulful, and quietly brave.) I’m a quiet, reserved lass who prefers to hang back and observe the world before jumping in. I’m not the first to rush over for attention, but if you sit with me and give me time, I’ll happily accept gentle pats and quiet affection. I’m the kind of kitten who bonds deeply... just at my own pace 💙 New spaces can make me a bit wary, so I like calm environments where I can feel safe and settled. Once I know I’m okay, my sweet side shines through. I don’t demand attention, but I truly appreciate it when it’s offered kindly and patiently.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? Change can be pretty scary for me and there is a whole lotta' change involved with the adoption process; meeting new people at meet and greets, moving into a new home, adjusting to a new routine, learning to trust my adopters, adjusting to new sounds & smells... to name a few. I'm seeking a patient and understanding home that'll give me plenty of time to adjust to my new home. Cats? I’d do best in a home with another cat (or even better, one of my siblings) who can help me feel confident and show me the ropes. Dogs? I'm currently in care with a doggie and have adjusted well to their company. Children? A quieter household without young children (ages 10+) would suit me perfectly I need my space respected so I can blossom in my own time. Like my namesake, I’m sensitive, gentle-hearted, and stronger than I look. With patience, understanding, and a little love, I’ll reward you with trust and a very special bond.
