Hi, my name is Jem and I came into the care of the rescue with my litter of kittens. Thankfully the rescue wasted no time at all and found a suitable foster carer who was able to provide a safe and loving environment for us until our forever homes are found.

If you are looking for a special cat who is kind, affectionate and loves to love - then I am the one for you. Why am I so special? Well… I am so friendly that when another litter of younger kittens tragically lost their mum - the rescue called on me to help. Of course I took these babies on as my own and along with my own four, I have been feeding them, cleaning them, and teaching them how to be the loveliest kittens possible. My foster carers decided to call me Jem and all of my babies after Gemstones to honour my sparkling eyes. I am always up for love. I will rub my silky coat against your legs and purr my heart out the moment you pay me any type of attention. I have worked so hard to please all of my babies and my foster carers and now it’s time for me to live my best life in my forever home.

Now on to the important stuff. What sort of home would I suit best? I’ll do well in a home where I am your one and only or a home seeking a companion kitty. Cats? I play well with other cats and kittens. Dogs? I haven’t been around dogs in my foster home but I am so super chill that I can’t imagine it would be a problem. Children? I am so gentle that I would suit a home with children. (Ages 3+).
