About Me

Hi, my name's Hershey & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself on my lonesome, homeless and at a local pound.

Hershey… yes, like the chocolate.... and I’m just as smooth, sweet and impossible to resist.

Life’s pretty simple if you ask me. Easy come, easy go. No drama, no fuss. I’m what you’d call a cruisey kind of guy. The type who takes life one sunny patch at a time and doesn’t get his whiskers in a twist over much at all. What I do get worked up about? Affection. I don’t just like it… I crave it. Pats, chin scratches, cuddles on the couch... I’ll happily melt into you like a chocolate bar on a warm day. If you’ve got hands, I assume they’re there for loving me. It just makes sense.

I’ve also proven I’m pretty adaptable. Other cats? No worries. Rabbits? Sure thing. Different animals around the home? I roll with it. I’m more “peace treaty” than “territorial dispute.” Harmony is my vibe.
If you’re after a sweet, steady, low-maintenance companion who will happily soak up your love and give it right back… well, I think we’d make a pretty delicious match.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? Due to my affectionate nature, I'd best suit a home seeking a companion kitty. Cats? I've adapted to the company of other kitties beautifully. Dogs? I'll do fine in a home with a calm doggo. Children? I am great with children, however, would prefer a home without youngsters (ages 3+).
