Hi, my name's Melody & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself homeless at a local pound. The pound reached out to the rescue, who were able to secure foster care placement for me.

I'm a sweet and gentle little lass who likes to take life at my own tempo. I can be a little cautious when meeting new people, so I prefer to spend some time getting to know you before deciding we're going to be best friends. Give me a little patience and kindness, though, and you'll soon see my affectionate side shine. Once I feel safe, I love gentle pats, cuddles, and spending time with the humans I've learned to trust.
I'm friendly, loving, and simply need a family who understands that good things don't need to be rushed. Give me the time to settle into my new surroundings, and before long, we'll be completely in Harmony.

What sort of home would I suit best? A patient home that's willing to give me the time I need to adjust to all the change that comes with an adoption. Cats? I play well with other cats and kittens. Dogs? I haven’t been around dogs in my foster home but I’m sure I would be fine with the right introduction. Children? I play well with children (ages 3+).
