About Me

Hi, my name's Esme & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself with my siblings homeless at a local pound. Unfortunately our mum arrived with us deceased and at the age of 3 weeks, we needed someone experienced to undertake the arduous journey of hand-raising us. We hadn't had a great deal of contact with people so were on the timid side, but, that's now a distant memory.

While the most confident of my litter, this confidence didn't happen over night, NOPE! When I first arrived inTO foster care, my siblings and I were scared after our time in the pound, but I’ve come a long way since then! Now? Well I enjoy a spot of exploration... and I love to play! Whether it’s toys, new spaces, or just checking out what the humans are up to. I’ve learned that pats are pretty wonderful and will happily give out purrs when I’m feeling content.

I’d suit a home where I can keep exploring, playing, and growing in confidence with people who enjoy an affectionate, curious little companion. I’ve got a lovely mix of bravery, sweetness, and fun just waiting to be shared.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? Change can be pretty scary for me and there is a whole lotta' change involved with the adoption process; meeting new people at meet and greets, moving into a new home, adjusting to a new routine, learning to trust my adopters, adjusting to new sounds & smells... to name a few. I'm seeking a patient and understanding home that'll give me plenty of time to adjust to my new home. Cats? Yes! Dogs? While I haven't previously lived with canine companions, the rescue is confident that will the right introductions, I'll be just fine. Children? I'm not suited to a home with young, boisterous children however will be ok with older children (ages 10+).
