About Me
Hi, my name’s Abbey & I came into the care of the rescue with my kittens after finding myself homeless in a local pound. Thankfully the rescue was contacted who wasted no time in finding a suitable foster carer who was able to provide a safe and loving environment for me to raise my babies.
I think I'm beautiful looking kitty... which I hope will help persuade someone to overlook how timid I can {initially} be with new folk. I've made a great deal of progress in the short time I've been in foster care which can be attributed to love and care my foster mum's provided. I now enjoy pats, actually... I love pats, I love a spot of snuggles and I even purrrrr! I'll even seek out my foster mumma to give nudges/ head boopeties to prompt her for more attention! While I'm for the most part a much more confident... as I mentioned, I can be wary of new people. It just takes me a bit of time to adjust to change. The good news? I have bucket loads of potential... I’m just looking for that special someone to share that with.
So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I'm seeking a quiet and patient home that will provide me plenty of time to adjust to all the changes that come with an adoption. I will need someone willing and able to continue working on my confidence- slow is my speed. Cats? While I've previously bunked with other kitties, post the departure of my kittens... I've become a touch antisocial with other animals. This leaves this question with a big "?". Dogs? Same deelio as cats. Children? I am not suited to a home with young, boisterous children however.... will be ok with kidlets who are respectful of my space (ages 5+).
