May is the Petstock Foundation's National Pet Adoption Month {'Adopt-a-Buddy!'} and we’re so proud to be partnering with the amazing Petstock Foundation!

Throughout May, you can Adopt a Buddy from select PetStock stores or donate to the Petstock Foundation at the checkout... and you’ll be directly supporting local rescue groups like ours.

A huge thank you to Petstock for their incredible ongoing support of Saving Animals Matters Rescue and for hosting our upcoming adoption events on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th of May!

Adoption Process

Please see below adoption process for adoption events

1. Complete the online Adoption Application form : www.savinganimalsmatters.org.au/adopt 

2. Submit the required images/ documentation (photo ID & 3 X home photos- please ensure these are saved on your phone prior to event attendance if you have not already placed an application).

3. Receive confirmation of the application being received by the adoption coordinator.

4. Receive confirmation of a meet time by the adoption coordinator.

5. Attend a meet and greet at the adoption event

6. Adoption approval is given by S.A.M.

7. Adoption fee paid

8. Your new kitten can be taken home!

NOTE* You will need a secure pet carrier to take your kitten home in. We will not release any of our kittens if a secure pet carrier isn’t provided.

Important Information

To avoid disappointment, we strongly encourage anyone interested in adoption to submit an application and secure a meet-and-greet time slot with our team prior to the event. Failure to do so may result in missing out on your preferred kitty. Please note: submitting an application does not guarantee approval or adoption of a particular animal. A meet and greet must first be arranged and conducted with our team to ensure the adoption is a suitable fit for both the animal and prospective adopter.
