ZigZag NK5571

ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is ZigZag (Ziggie) & I was found fending for myself with a large number of kitties at a residential property. This unfortunately meant the amount of human interaction I’d had was limited.... very limited! Thankfully the rescue saw my potential (I am actually pretty sweet!) and offered to take me in.

Just looooooookkkkk at how sweet I am. I mean from the pics and video, it's hard to believe I was once a colony kittie. I can assure you though, that was definitely the case. Although it's been a slow process, my carer has done a fab-u-lous job with my rehabilitation. A once 'hissy', 'spitty'.... kittie, I now enjoy pats... actually, I love love love pats & can be picked up with little hassles. I am slowly learning that people mean me no harm and that their attention can actually be pretty great! My sisters and I are seeking special homes. Ones that can see us for what we are.... timid kitties with LOADS of potential because once we get to know you, well.... que incoming cuddles and smooches . They will be aplenty. Our amazing carer has worked hard to get us to where we are and the rescue is confident that the love and trust we share with her, we will also share with our adopters.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I am seeking a quiet and patient home that will provide me plenty of time to adjust to all the changes that come with an adoption. I will need someone willing and able to continue working on my confidence- slow is my speed. Cats? I adore the company of other kitties and will do fabulously with another confident and friendly feline companion that will model positive human interactions- this will also help me establish a bond with my adopter! Dogs? While I haven't previously lived with companions of the canine variety, I have proven to be non reactive when meeting them from the comfort of my pet carrier. It likely won't be love at first sight however- the rescue is confident that with time, I will adjust well to their company (ideally no energetic doggos). Children? I am not suited to a home with young, boisterous children however....  will be ok with kidlets who are respectful of my space.

You may notice my tail is a little different... well you'd be right. A birth defect, I have one that has a distinct kink and my sister has one that resembles a cork screw. Does it affect our quality of life? Absolutely not!
