ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Toblerone & I came into the care of the rescue with my siblings after being surrendered with our mother. Thankfully the rescue was contacted who wasted no time in finding a suitable foster carer who was able to provide a safe and loving environment for our mother to raise us in- and what a great job she's done!

Decadent, rich, creamy, sweet with a bit of crunch, I am Toblerone. Between my sparkling baby blue coloured eyes and my uniquely patterned, two-toned coat.... I'll have you utterly captivated. I'm a sweet-natured young boy with a rich and complex personality- the purrfect triangular balance of affection, confidence & curiosity. For the most part, I'm fairly easy going.... with a chillaxed' sorta vibe. I prefer to sit back and take in my surroundings then harass the humans like some of my siblings do. I prefer to snooze beside you, rather than on-top of you.

When I'm not catching up on those z's, I can generally be found engaging in a spot of exploration with my siblings. We make it our personal mission to explore every nook 'n' cranny of ANY and EVERY space. Dora ain't got nothing on us. We will then collate all acquired goodies from each exploration mission and stash said articles in what could be classed as 'inappropriate' places (e.g. dirty socks placed in the bathroom sanitary bin). If anything, I guess these antics will give you a giggle.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? To be fair, I’d slot in just about anywhere! Cats? I enjoy the company of other kitties and will do well in a home with an existing kittie or 2! Dogs? While I haven't previously lived with canine companions, I have proven to be non reactive when meeting them from the comfort of my pet carrier. It likely won't be love at first sight however- the rescue is confident that with time, I will adjust well to their company (ideally no energetic doggos). Children? I’ll do ok with kidlets, however I can at times play rough (prefer a home with children 3+ yrs)

You may notice my adoption fee is a little higher. Let me explain why. The rescue has acquired some serious debt in the way of vet bills. Why? Because they seldom say no to helping animals in need and sometimes those animals require expensive emergency vet treatment. Rather than shamelessly spamming social media for tends of thousands of dollars, they hope my adoption fee will make a small contribution towards those cost. If you are able to donate more, they can write you a tax receipt to claim your donation back on tax (anything over $2).

ADOPTION PACKAGE

Adoption fee is $200 which 1st vaccination, de-sexing, microchip, worming, flea treatment and vet check. Animals are ready for their forever homes typically once they reach 9 weeks of age and vet work has been completed. Please note* adoption fees do not cover microchip transfer costs. This can be obtained from the lovely SAM team upon request.
