Hi, my name is Starlight and I sadly found myself homeless on my lonesome due to a change of circumstances of my previous owner. Thankfully the rescue was contacted, wasting no time in finding a suitable foster carer willing to take me in. I have since made a move to PetStock Rockingham where I hope to have lots of adoption exposure! I am super excited at the prospect that my special forever home may not be too far away!
"Star light, star bright,
First star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have this wish I wish tonight" *anonymous
I am a sweet-natured young lady who is patiently waiting for a special home to call my own. I see other kitties come and go... each finding wonderful people to take them in and love them unconditionally. So each night, I wish upon a star that it might just be my turn next.
Wanting to know a little bit more about me? Pull up a pew and I'll give you the 'downlow'. I'm a bit of a smooch.... a smooch that lives for the affections of my human counter-parts. Yep, the sorta kittie that will cease any opportunity to to have a cuddle and snuggle.... with or without your consent. In the mornings, you can generally find me shadowing whoever preps my meals in search of a snack (and of course cuddles). In the afternoons, I like to enjoy a spot of bird watching by my favourite window.... & In the evenings, I won't be found far from the couch, gazing longingly at the humans for their company -AND- they always give in!
So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I am a pretty cool customer that will suit a variety of homes. Cats? Unfortunately this is an area I have little experience in.... meaning, I've never met another cat. So, I can't say whether I'd like their company or not. To be safe, it's probably best that I am a 'one and only' kittie. Dogs? My foster mum had a few pooches, all small in size. I adapted well to their company. Kids? Due to my affectionate personality, the rescue thinks I will do fine with kidlets however, I would prefer that they are over the age of 5.
If you are able to grant my wish and provide me with a happily ever after, please shoot the lovely S.A.M. folk an email!
