Sprite NK5857
ABOUT ME
Hi my name is Sprite & I came into the care of the rescue after being surrendered with my sister. Thankfully the rescue was contacted who wasted no time in finding a suitable foster carer who was able to provide us with somewhere safe to 'crash-land' until forever homes are found.
What a long way I've come... a long way indeed. No longer a 'hissy', 'spitty' kitten... I've learnt to enjoy the affections of my human counterparts. Pats, cuddles and snuggles all sound good to me! Did you know humans can actually be kind? I didn't, but now do! While I'm worlds apart from the old 'me', it should be understood that I won't take to new people straight away. You see, I don't cope too well with change. New things, new places, new people are all scary prospects to me. If you are patient with me though, I can assure you that I'll reward you with my undivided love and attention.... and cuddles galore! Slow & steady is my speed.
So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I can be wary of new people & shy in unfamiliar environments. I'll need plenty of patience. Cats? I lurrrrve the company of other kitties and would do fabulously in a home with another confident/ friendly feline friend to help model positive human interactions! Dogs? While I haven't previously lived with canine companions, I have proven to be non reactive when meeting them from the comfort of my pet carrier. It likely won't be love at first sight however- the rescue is confident that with time, I will adjust well to their company (ideally no energetic doggos). Children? Being a quieter kitten, I'd prefer a home without young children (ideally over the age of 10).
If I sound like I the sort of soft- fizzy drink you might be into, please drop the S.A.M. team a line.
