Scout SK6018
ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Scout & I came into the care of the rescue with my siblings after being surrendered my our previous owner. Thankfully the rescue was contacted who wasted no time in finding a suitable foster carer who was able to provide a safe and loving environment for us until forever homes are found.
As I'm sure you can tell from my pictures, I'm no ordinary kittie. I like people. I like people a lot. One could class me as a ‘smoocher’. What’s a smoocher you ask? A kittie that absolutely adores the company of their human counterparts. The sort of kittie that seeks every opportunity to have a snuggle on a lap, arm, shoulder.... whatever’s going really. Any what is said kittie doesn’t get their snuggles? Well, you best be prepared to hear about it in the form of tail flicks, meows, head boops, knocking items from your hands (obviously in protest), nudges, doing donuts between your legs... Yep, expect a combination of any of those.
So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? Due to my affectionate nature, I'd best suit a home seeking a companion kittie. Cats? I will thrive in a home with an existing kittie or 2. No kitties? That's fine... I'm ok with being your one and only! Dogs? While I haven't previously lived with canine companions, I have proven to be non reactive when meeting them from the comfort of my pet carrier. It likely won't be love at first sight however- the rescue is confident that with time, I will adjust well to their company (ideally no energetic doggos). Children? I am great with children, however would prefer a home without children under the age of 3.
You may notice my adoption fee is a little higher. Let me explain why. The rescue has acquired some serious debt in the way of vet bills. Why? Because they seldom say no to helping animals in need and sometimes those animals require expensive emergency vet treatment. Rather than shamelessly spamming social media for tends of thousands of dollars, they hope my adoption fee will make a small contribution towards those cost. If you are able to donate more, they can write you a tax receipt to claim your donation back on tax (anything over $2).
