Peachy SK5841

Hi my name is Peachy & I came into the care of the rescue after being surrendered with my siblings. Thankfully the rescue was contacted who wasted no time in finding a suitable foster carer who was able to provide us with somewhere safe to 'crash-land' until forever homes are found.

I am a scrumptious young lady with a striking tabby coat embellished with splashes of peach. As you would and should expect.. the tortietude (or torbietude) is strong 'in this one'. Oh but what is tortietude? Likely a whole' lotta confusion for most cat owners! But in all seriousness... it's an actual thing; strong-willed, at times unpredictable, affectionate and independent. A real “cat’s cats”, if you will. It should be noted that this can be overshadowed by my background, meaning, I can initially be wary of new environments, things and people. Once I'm comfortable though, I can assure you my 'true self' really begins to shine through. Queue incoming cuddles and smooches- they will be aplenty. Queue epic play and exploration sessions either on my lonesome or with another willing participant.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I am seeking a patient, understanding home that will be mindful of my background and give me plenty of time to adjust to all the changes that come with an adoption. Cats? I'm partial to a kittie or 2 and will adapt well to a home with existing feline friends. Dogs? While I haven't previously lived with canine companions, I have proven to be non reactive when meeting them from the comfort of my pet carrier. It likely won't be love at first sight however- the rescue is confident that with time, I will adjust well to their company (ideally no energetic doggos). Children? Being a quieter kitten, I'd prefer a home without young children (ideally over the age of 10).

So what do you say? We could be a great thing, like peaches 'n' cream!
