ABOUT ME

Hi, our names are Ned Leeds and I surrendered to local vet by my previous owner with my brother Peter Parker. A vet nurse took us in as we were a weeeee bit shy and not overly keen on being handled. She wasn't sure (initially) if we were siblings, however it became evident at our 'reunion' that we were just that.

I have made incredible progress in the short time I have been in foster care- and this can be partly attributed to being back in the company of my brother. Our confidence comes from each other.... If is one of us is feeling nervous or anxious, the other will provide the support needed. The rescue is therefore seeking a home willing to adopt us both together and won't {at this stage} be considering separate applications.

I have certainly come a long way from my 'hissy', 'spitty' former self.... a long way indeed! I've learn that people mean me no harm, and their attention and affections can actually be great! I now enjoy pats and can tolerate being picked up (all on my terms). I am for the most part much more confident than what I first was however, can be wary of new people. It just takes me a bit of time to adjust to new things- people, environments and such. This should be taken into consideration when meeting me.

Given my past, I would prefer a quieter home (ideally without young children or boisterous dog/s) that will give me plenty of time to adapt to all the changes that come with an adoption. It can take me a bit of time to come out of my shell .... but if you are patient with me, you will see just how affectionate I can be. I have a whole-lotta potential, we just need an adopter with patience.

ADOPTION PACKAGE

Adoption fee is $450 and covers 1st vaccination, de-sexing, microchip, worming, flea treatment and vet check. Animals are ready for their forever homes typically once they reach 9 weeks of age and vet work has been completed. Please note* adoption fees do not cover microchip transfer costs. This can be obtained from the lovely SAM team upon request.
