Muffin-Man SK6061
ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Muffin Man & I came into the care of the rescue with my kittens after being found fending for ourselves on a property. Thankfully the rescue had an experienced carer who was able to take us on and work on our trust with people.
I think I'm a pretty cute kittie... which I hope will help persuade someone to overlook how timid I am. My coat is a tabby colour adorned with creamy white sprinkled highlights. A bit like Muffin. But yes, as I said... I can be very timid. My carer has worked tirelessly on my rehabilitation however, this has been a slow process. That said, I have shown great potential in the time she has had me. A once 'hissy', 'spitty'.... kittie, I now enjoy pats and can be picked up and cuddles. I am slowly learning that people mean me no harm and that their attention can actually be pretty great! I am needing a patient adopter who is willing and able to continue working on my confidence. Change can be pretty scary for me and there is a whole lotta' change involved with an adoption. While I still have a long road ahead of me the rescue is confident that in the right home, I will continue to flourish.
So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I can initially be wary of new people and new environments so will need a patient home willing to give me plenty of time to adjust to all the changes that come with an adoption. Cats? YES, YES YES! Dogs? Also, another big YES, YES, YES! Children? I will be fine with children as long as I am given space 'to chill' when needed (preferably no children under the age of 5).
