ABOUT ME
Hi my name is Miki & I came into the care of the rescue after being found fending for myself in a backyard. I was not very friendly and my future at this point didn't look very bright. Thankfully the rescue saw my potential and offered to take me in. I am now safe in foster care where my confidence with people improves daily.
A once cranky 'hissy spitty' kittie, I am now learning that humans aren't so scary. I now enjoy the odd pat and will tolerate being held. While I still have a long way to go, the rescue is confident that I will flourish in the right home. I just need time and patience.
I am currently in care with other kitties and have adapted well to their company. I am therefore searching for a home with an existing kittie who is confident and affectionate. The rescue hopes that with some luck, the modelling of these positive behaviours will encourage me to relax in unfamiliar environments and in the company of unfamiliar people. Note* introductions should be done with care and consideration.
Unfortunately I would not suit a busy home with young children or doggies and would likely revert to old behaviours. This should be taken into consideration when applying for me.
ADOPTION PACKAGE
Adoption fee is $300 and covers 1st vaccination, de-sexing, microchip, worming, flea treatment and vet check. Animals are ready for their forever homes typically once they reach 9 weeks of age and vet work has been completed. Please note* adoption fees do not cover microchip transfer costs. This can be obtained from the lovely SAM team upon request.
