ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Meg & I came into the care of the rescue with my kittens after being found fending for ourselves on rural property. I was then taken to a local pound where I did my impound time. Thankfully the rescue had an experienced carer who was able to take us on and work on our trust with people.

Thanks to the incredible work of my dedicated carer, I am a worlds apart from the ‘hissy’, ‘spitty’ kitten I once was. I've learnt that humans aren't all that scary... kind even. I'm beginning to enjoy human attention and affections... actually in truth, I'm beginning to love the stuff! That aside, I'm likely to be initially nervy in your company (or anyone else for that matter). You see, I don't cope too well with change. New things, new places, new people... it's all pretty scary to me. If you are patient with me though, I can assure you that you'll be rewarded with my unconditional love and trust. What might that trust entail? Well, expect me to be there when you need it most... showering you with all my affections- in every form you can think of! I am really actually very sweet!

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I'm in need of a patient and understanding home that will be mindful of my background and give me plenty of time to adjust to all the changes that come with an adoption. Cats? I enjoy the company of other kitties and will do well in a home with an existing kittie or 2! Dogs? While I haven't previously lived with canine companions, I have proven to be non reactive when meeting them from the comfort of my pet carrier. It likely won't be love at first sight however- the rescue is confident that with time, I will adjust well to their company (ideally no energetic doggos). Children? Being a quieter kitten, I'd prefer a home without young children (ideally over the age of 10).
