Now taking expressions of interest! Hi my name is Lily and I came into the rescue's care after being trapped and rescues at an industrial property. We were in poor condition as we were forced to fend for ourselves and as you can imagine, we hadn't had much interaction with humans up until this point.
My carer is working hard on my rehabilitation and obviously this is going to be a slow process. I have however showed great potential in the short time she has had me. I am learning that people aren't so scary and are there to help me! I am slowly adjusting to changes ; new people, new surroundings, new sounds and new smells. I can be patted but at this stage, I am still very wary.
I will need a quiet and understanding home, ideally one without children (or if there is children, they will need to be respectful of my space).
Adoption fee is $150 and covers 1st vaccination, de-sexing, microchip, worming, flea treatment and vet check. Animals are ready for their forever homes typically once they reach 9 weeks of age and vet work has been completed. Please note* adoption fees do not cover microchip transfer costs. This can be obtained from the lovely SAM team upon request.
HOW TO ADOPT
Here at Saving Animals Matters, we pride ourselves on matching each individual animal to the most suitable and compatible homes for them. It is through this thorough process that we can give both the rescued animals and their new human companions the best chance at a happy and fulfilling life together.
Please understand that our rescue is run by volunteers. We will always try our best to be as responsive as possible and will get back to you as soon as we can.
The rescue operates from:
9am- 5pm Monday to Friday
9am- 4pm Saturday
Note* The rescue does not adopt to a home where the existing dog is of the same sex.
