Hi, my name is Jack and I sadly found myself homeless with my sister due to a change of circumstances of our previous owner.
My sister and I were hand reared from a day old so have not only a special bond with one-another, but also with people. For the most part we are affectionate kitties however due to not having a feline mum, we lack the normal skills a kittie would typically possess- meaning, we are not great at grooming ourselves, are fearful of change, are overly emotional, can be overly possessive and affectionate (once we get to know you), have a cat run that we are afraid to use, and are not great with using our litter trays. If we are stressed or our tray isn't clean enough, we have a bad habit of toileting on carpet or furniture.
We are great companion kitties and would suit someone looking for a lap warmer that loves to snuggle and ideally, to be rehomed together.
I have epilepsy and require daily medication, a large supply will be supplied to my adopter. I don't have fits as long as my medication is given to me, however if not, I do have fits where I lose consciousness and hurt myself. The development of my condition has made me nervous and as such, I overgroom myself (my tain is no longer fluffy). I have had skin swabs etc done with no abnormalities however my adopt must accept that my fur in particular areas may alwaos be patchy.
Note* our foster foster mum will be picky where we go!
Adoption fee is $200 and covers 1st vaccination, de-sexing, microchip, worming, flea treatment and vet check. Animals are ready for their forever homes typically once they reach 9 weeks of age and vet work has been completed. Please note* adoption fees do not cover microchip transfer costs. This can be obtained from the lovely SAM team upon request.
HOW TO ADOPT
Here at Saving Animals Matters, we pride ourselves on matching each individual animal to the most suitable and compatible homes for them. It is through this thorough process that we can give both the rescued animals and their new human companions the best chance at a happy and fulfilling life together.
Please understand that our rescue is run by volunteers. We will always try our best to be as responsive as possible and will get back to you as soon as we can.
The rescue operates from:
