Hi, my name's Opal & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself with my siblings homeless at a local pound. We hadn't had a great deal of contact with people so were on the timid side, but, that's now a distant memory.

A kitty of love, passion, energy, vibrance & confidence… I am Opal. Just as wonderfully dazzling as the glistening red stone I’ve been aptly named after, I captivate all those that I meet. From my sparkling teal eyes, to my grey ticked coat… I’ll have you hook, line & sinker. N’ if that doesn’t do the trick? Well, I have an equally as impressive personality. You see, I’m an absolute smoochy-ka-booty. I absolutely enjoy (& savour) each moment I spend with my human-counterparts… embraces, kisses, cuddles, hugs, strokes & nudges are all on the menu. If I’m not all up in your grill seeking affections, you’ll generally find me engaged in a spot of exploration, followed by a wrestling match with a sock, shoe, toy.... whatever I can find really.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I'll suit a home that's patient and will give me plenty of time to adjust to all the change that comes with an adoption. Cats? I’ve previously bunked with other kitties, so that's a yes! Dogs? Yes! Children? Yes, however I'll need space from time to time (ages 5+).
