Hi, my name is Nutmeg & I came into the care of the rescue with my siblings after being surrendered to a local pound. Thankfully the rescue was contacted who wasted no time in finding a suitable foster carer who was able to take us in!

Before we go any further, I need to level with you here- I'm likely to be initially nervy in your company (or anyone else for that matter). Yep, I'm the most reserved of our litter. New things, new places, new people... can be scary for me. I can assure you though, that if you're patient with me, you'll be rewarded with my unconditional love and trust. What does this love and trust look like? I'll be there for you when you need it most... embellishing you with all my affections- pats, cuddles, kisses, embraces, strokes, snuggles, rubs, nuzzles and more. I’ll make a great lap warmer and an even better NetFlix buddy. Yup, I'll virtually do a 180 on my former self. Truly... you won't believe I'm the same kitty! What I'm saying here is, I've got all the love to give- if you've got the patience.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I'm in need of a patient and understanding adopter that will give me plenty of time to adjust to my new home. Cats? I enjoy the company of other kitties and will do well in a home with an existing kittie or 2! Dogs? While I haven't previously lived with canine companions, I have proven to be non reactive when meeting them from the comfort of my pet carrier. It likely won't be love at first sight however- the rescue is confident that with time, I will adjust well to their company (ideally no energetic doggos). Children? Being a quieter kitten, I'd prefer a home without young children (ages 7+).
