About Me

Hi, my name's Diamond & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself with my siblings homeless at a local pound. Unfortunately our mum arrived with us deceased and at the age of 3 weeks, we needed someone experienced to undertake the arduous journey of hand-raising us. We hadn't had a great deal of contact with people so were on the timid side, but, that's now a distant memory.

"So shine bright, tonight, you and I
We're beautiful like diamonds in the sky
Eye to eye, so alive
We're beautiful like diamonds in the sky"

A handsome girl with a sweet & affectionate disposition... Diamonds are most certainly a gal's best friend! What to expect from me? In the mornings I'll stalk you for food.... well, because a mans gotta eat! In the afternoons you'll generally find me play fighting.... with a sock, shoe, pair of knickers.... whatever I can find really. The evenings is where I turn on my charm. My eyes will lock with yours and I will slink towards you without lifting my gaze. When we make contact, I'll plop myself right onto your lap. I make a great cuddle buddy, much like a teddy bear. Your favourite teddy bear. Bed time? I'll likely be there before you've gotten yourself ready for a snooze. Next to your pillow is my spot of choice but if you toss 'n' turn in the night, I'll probs' make myself comfy at your feet.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I'm pretty much a 'one size fits all' kinda' kitty. Cats? I have also been introduced to a number of different cats in foster care and have proven to be great with them (note* care and consideration will need to be taken with any kitty introduction). Dogs? Absolutely! Children? My relaxed personality makes me a great adoption candidate for a family environment. I will be fine with kidlets who are respectful of my space.... and give me time to ‘chill’ when needed (ages 3+).
