Hi, my name is Anise & I came into the care of the rescue with my siblings after being surrendered to a local pound. Thankfully the rescue was contacted who wasted no time in finding a suitable foster carer who was able to take us in!

I didn't have a great deal of trust when I came into the rescue's care, but, thanks to the incredible work of my dedicated carer, I've developed into an inquisitive and curious kitty that enjoys exploring my surroundings and engaging in rough 'n' tumble play with my siblings. I'm also learning to enjoy the attention and affections of my human counterparts... actually in truth, I'm beginning to crave the stuff! That aside, it will need to keep in mind that I'm likely to be initially nervy in your company (or anyone else new for that matter). Change can be a big deal for kitties like me and there's a whole lotta' change that comes with an adoption. New things, new places, new people... it's all pretty scary to me. If you are patient with me though, I can assure you that you'll be rewarded with my unconditional love and trust. All I need is time.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I'm in need of a patient and understanding adopter that will give me plenty of time to adjust to my new home. Cats? I enjoy the company of other kitties and will do well in a home with an existing kittie or 2! Dogs? While I haven't previously lived with canine companions, I have proven to be non reactive when meeting them from the comfort of my pet carrier. It likely won't be love at first sight however- the rescue is confident that with time, I will adjust well to their company (ideally no energetic doggos). Children? Being a quieter kitten, I'd prefer a home without young children (ages 7+).
