Hi my name is Dill & I sadly found myself homeless due to a change in living circumstances. Thankfully the rescue was contacted, wasting no time in finding a suitable foster carer willing to take me in. I have since made a move to PetStock Rockingham where I hope to have lots of adoption exposure! I am super excited at the prospect that my special forever home may not be too far away!
I am a sweet-natured, placid young boy that relishes in the company of my human counterparts. I am very vocal in demanding affection and if I don't get it, you best be prepared to hear about it- I mean, the photographer lady struggled to get photos of me as all I wanted to do was cuddle! In the mornings I will shadow the humans in search of food and cuddles. In the afternoons you won't find me far from the couch where I await the humans for cuddles. In the evenings I will curl up into a ball ready for bed and cuddles. Sensing a theme here? You wouldn't be wrong. I am all about cuddles.
I have previously been in care with other kitties adapted fabulously to their company. The rescue therefore feels I will suit a home with an existing feline friend providing introductions are done with care and consideration. I unfortunately haven’t been tested with them, so would prefer a home without any canine companions. I will be fine with kidlets who are respectful of my space.... and give me time to ‘chill’ when needed.
Adoption fee is $250 and covers 1st vaccination, de-sexing, microchip, worming, flea treatment and vet check. Animals are ready for their forever homes typically once they reach 9 weeks of age and vet work has been completed. Please note* adoption fees do not cover microchip transfer costs. This can be obtained from the lovely SAM team upon request.
HOW TO ADOPT
Here at Saving Animals Matters, we pride ourselves on matching each individual animal to the most suitable and compatible homes for them. It is through this thorough process that we can give both the rescued animals and their new human companions the best chance at a happy and fulfilling life together.
Please understand that our rescue is run by volunteers. We will always try our best to be as responsive as possible and will get back to you as soon as we can.
The rescue operates from:
9am- 5pm Monday to Friday
9am- 4pm Saturday
Note* The rescue does not adopt to a home where the existing dog is of the same sex.
