Cupcake NK5870
ABOUT ME
Hi my name is Cupcake & I came into the care of the rescue with my siblings after being surrendered with our mother. Thankfully the rescue was contacted who wasted no time in finding a suitable foster carer who was able to provide a safe and loving environment for our mother to raise us in- and what a great job she's done!
I think I'm a pretty cute kittie... which I hope will help persuade someone to overlook how timid I am. My coat is a tabby colour adorned with creamy white sprinkled highlights. A bit like a cupcake, a heavenly looking cupcake. But yes, as I said... I can be very timid. My carer has worked tirelessly on my rehabilitation however, this has been a slow process. That said, I have shown great potential in the time she has had me. A once 'hissy', 'spitty'.... kittie, I now enjoy pats and can be picked up and cuddles. I am slowly learning that people mean me no harm and that their attention can actually be pretty great! I am needing a patient adopter who is willing and able to continue working on my confidence. Change can be pretty scary for me and there is a whole lotta' change involved with an adoption. While I still have a long road ahead of me the rescue is confident that in the right home, I will continue to flourish.
So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I can initially be wary of new people and new environments so will need a patient home willing to give me plenty of time to adjust to all the changes that come with an adoption. Cats? I'm not to keen on meeting new felines friends initially. I smack, I hiss and I growl. If you have another kittie if should be kept in mind that it will take me quite some time to accept their companionship. Dogs? I haven't met a doggie, as with other kitties- it will likely take me some time to adjust to their company. Children? I will be fine with children as long as I am given space 'to chill' when needed (preferably no children under the age of 5).
